Why this action helps
The healthy eating plate shows that a balanced meal is made up of healthy protein, vegetables, fruit and whole grains. If you know which of these you like eating, you have all the ingredients for healthy, tasty and balanced meals!
How to do it
Either print or copy the table below onto a sheet of paper. Start filling each column with any and all food you enjoy eating and like the taste of. This next bit is really important…update this list over time!
Don’t include foods you “should” like, only the ones you actually do. Then, any time you don’t know what your next healthy, balanced meal is going to be, simply choose something from each column and away you go.
