A while ago I wrote some posts about exercise during pregnancy (click here, here, here and here). So here is a little bit extra on the subject. I want to direct you to a new bit of research done to test the safety of resistance training for pregnant women (click here for the abstract). In short, 32 pregnant women did 12 weeks of supervised low to moderate intensity strength training and it was shown to be safe. So getting pregnant is not an excuse to give up all activity, do nothing and eat loads! And if you are pregnant while reading this, congratulations!
