What is Online Personal Training?

It is very much like the regular face to face personal training I do and we can structure it towards your needs and situation. Depending on things like your current abilities, exercise history and what you want, I can offer:

Virtual Personal Training

Virtual Personal Training

Individual real time, internet video based training sessions for you. I take you through a home workout via video messaging (Skype, Zoom, Google Meet etc) and you work hard!

Sessions last 1 hour.


Small group virtual training

Virtual Small Group Training

Small group, real time, internet video based training sessions for you and up to 3 other friends. We all connect over video conferencing and I take you through a home workout. You and your friends can all be in different rooms, houses, towns or even countries!

Sessions last 1 hour.


Consultation and Programming

Individual custom exercise programme creation. Taking into account what equipment you have available and your goals, I draw up and send you a 4 week routine for you to follow in your own time.

Included is 1 hours worth of online debrief, to:

  • Answer questions
  • Adapt exercises
  • Check form/technique
  • Etc

Is online training for you?

With the world like it currently is, online training is a great help to many of us. In normal times, it is best suited for people who:

  • Are committed to maintaining and improving their health, strength and fitness.
  • Are comfortable using email and video messaging such as Skype, Google Meet, Zoom etc
  • Are not total beginners, but have done at least some sort of basic exercise in their past.
  • Want the knowledge and skill of an experienced coach, but the flexibility and convenience inherent to the web.

How does it work?

  1. Complete the online Health Questionnaire here. It gives me your details and lets me know a bit about you. From this, I know who I am dealing with, what you want and if you will be suitable for online personal training.
  2. We have an online chat where we go over your questionnaire, I ask any additional questions about you, your goals and you ask any of me. Importantly, we also find out if online training is likely to work with you (it is not a good fit for everyone).
  3. We arrange when/how we do the training and you complete my basic online training assessment here.
  4. Pay the fees in advance and away we go!
