Informal, initial chat
Before anything else, you can meet up with me for a no commitment, informal chat. This is where you and I discuss your fitness needs/ goals and any injuries/conditions you may have. Feel free to ask any questions you have. You will need to fill out a standard Health Questionnaire (click here to fill out the form). Afterwards, I should have a good idea about you and if you like what you have heard, you can book yourself in for any of the following services I offer.

This is the important bit of improving your health and fitness…actually physically doing stuff! We go through a full training session from warm up to cool down via working like a demon! You will also get motivation, education and yes, even homework from me! This will make you stronger and fitter.
I am a qualified ARNI instructor and can help stroke survivors:
- Improve their general health
- Improve their movements
- Improve their strength
- Improve their fitness
- Improve their functional, practical abilities in their everyday lives.
Improving these aspects is not a quick and easy thing. It takes a lot of time and effort. But if you are up for the challenge, click here to find out more.
Diet and nutrition advice
We hear almost every day about a new diet we should all be doing. And how certain foods will almost kill you dead while other “superfoods” will keep you alive for hundreds of years. And all this can be very, very confusing. So I can help you cut through all the rubbish so you can focus on the things that are actually important and actually make a difference in your life.
I won’t give you meal plans and I won’t get you to weigh or measure precise amounts of things. Instead I can help you come to terms with food and make subtle but important differences that can make real and long term changes for the better.
Motivation and behaviour change
A lot of us already know what we should do to get fitter or control our weight. It’s the putting it into practice that is difficult. I can help you remember why you are exercising and changing your diet. And I can help make these changes in your behaviour easier and longer lasting. Why should we make things harder than they really need to be?? Book today!
Exercise and programme consultation
Maybe you already train regularly, but are not happy with the training/programme you have been set? Have your circumstances or health changed and you want to make sure you are doing the right things? Do you want to stop simply spinning your wheels and start making positive progress toward your goal?
I can help shape your training plans to be:
- More focused.
- More efficient.
- More progressive.
- Better suited to you and your needs.

Do you want to improve your technique in your sport? Improved technique and movement efficiency can mean improved performance, stamina, power and reduced risk of injury. I can record and analyse your movements to help you spot where you might be going wrong.
I develop and run my own exercise workshops covering various subjects. These part theory, part practical, workshops are designed to teach people a real understanding of the how’s, what’s and whys of fitness/exercise. They are ideal for groups of people wanting a deeper understanding of the subjects, but can be easily adapted for individuals. So if you run a club/gym and would like to host one of my workshops, don’t hesitate to contact me by clicking here.
A major reason many people who already exercise fail to achieve their goals, is simply because of simple errors in the way they are doing it. Do you spend hours every week slogging through ineffective exercises, simply thinking “more” is “better”? By making just very slight changes to the way you do an exercise can greatly change it’s effectiveness for the better. Get your form and technique checked by me, to ensure you are getting the most out of your hard work.
Coming soon! Even if I can’t see you in person, it’s the 21st century so I can help you remotely. With either online courses or personal training.
