Like the “how to get fitter” thing I did the other day (click here), here is the simplified version of how to get stronger.
Don’t get confused by lots of gumph about toning or long, lean muscles, or should only men/women do a certain exercise. Your goal should be to gradually shift more weight. Simple as that.
I like this way of simplifying things. The simple things are our foundation. We need a simple, solid, foundation before we build fancy, complicated things on top. If you can’t do basic pressups, basic squats, basic pullups, basic planks or basic moves like that, you have no need for complex, cutting edge training protocols.
Trust me. Your joints will thank me.
