Plan your month ahead


Happy Halloween!

And you know what this means?  It means it’s a new month tomorrow and it’s getting bloody close to Christmas.  So what better time to get your shit together before things go a little bit mental.

New month, new plan

Here is a common mistake I and many others make:  Decide we are going to do “something” soon to get what we want.  2 things wrong with that are:

  • “Something” is undefined and fuzzy.  We don’t really know what we are going to do or how…we just know we are going to do “something”.
  • “Soon” is also undefined and fuzzy.  Is it tomorrow?  The day after?  Next Monday?  We just know it means we don’t have to do anything now.

So lets use the new month as a new beginning and do this properly.  Decide just what you are going to do over November to help you get to where you want to be.  And more than that, decide how you are going to do it!
