How to do an L Sit

The L Sit is a very difficult core exercise.  I mean it, it's really hard to do.  You need a lot of things working well for you if you want to be able to do it.  Things like:

  • Strong stomach muscles
  • Strong legs
  • Flexible hamstrings
  • Strongs wrists
  • Good sense of balance

In this way, you might consider the L Sit to be an example of a Keystone Ability.

But just because something is difficult, it certainly doesn't mean we shouldn't give it a go!  So here are some progressions to help you get the L Sit yourself...

So give these a go and let me know how you get on!

"Working with Cerin is working in safe hands. He listens very carefully and understands my needs and where I'm coming from extremely well. He helps me push myself to achieve the goals I have set. I have gained a level of fitness working with Cerin in a relatively short period of time, that I haven't been able to achieve by going to the gym in years!"
